Hi there, I'm Meredith!
If you had told me five years ago where I would be today, I wouldn't have believed it. My journey has been filled with significant childhood trauma, church-hurt, skepticism, and years of loneliness and depression. At that time, following Jesus and being part of a faith community held little interest for me.

However, through God's goodness and grace, the Gospel has transformed my life and continues to do so. Today, as a seminary student, I have developed a deep love for the Old Testament and its significance in the Christian faith. My goal with this blog is to ignite that same love for the Old Testament within you.
When I'm not buried in books, I'm dedicated to training and teaching Krav Maga as a KMWW certified Instructor Brown Belt, equipping students with life-saving self-defense skills.
Last, but certainly not least, I am married to a very loving and supportive husband who shares my faith and walks alongside me through all my crazy ideas - whether that is this the creation of this blog, Krav Maga, running a photography business, serving in our church or rescuing kittens - he always has my back and most importantly holds me accountable to the Word of God. :)

Jesus
Jesus is both fully human and fully divine, He died as an atoning sacrifice for our sins and rose from the dead to ascend with the Father, demonstrating His ultimate power over sin and death.
Scripture
The Old and New Testament scriptures are inspired by God and completely accurate in their original text. They hold the highest authority in matters of faith and life. These scriptures are valuable to believers as they provide teachings, reproof, correction, and guidance in righteous living.
God
God is the creator of all things. He exists eternally and in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Humanity
Every human is created in the image of God and carries inherent value and worth. However, due to the actions of humanity, sin entered the world, alienating us from God.
Salvation
Only by grace though faith in Jesus, made possible by His death and resurrection are we saved and reconciled to God.
Believers
Every believer has a calling to share the gospel and actively make disciples. This is accomplished by fostering authentic relationships, fervent prayer, dedicated teaching of the Scripture, obediently living out God's Word, heartfelt worship, and utilizing the unique talents bestowed upon us by God to bring Him glory.
